WHAT WE DO
THERAPY SERVICES
Our team of speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and applied behavior analysts offers collaborative, evidence-based therapy approaches to an array of clients with developmental challenges in our outpatient clinic, daycares, homes, and schools.
Day in the Life
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists help children REACH beyond challenges and overcome physical limitations associated with a variety of conditions, whether orthopedic, neurological, developmental, congenital, or musculoskeletal.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps clients REACH beyond functional challenges and acquire skills needed to perform the activities of daily life. An occupational therapist can improve a child’s ability to interact with his or her environment and achieve independence in day-to-day activities.
Speech Therapy
Speech-language therapy helps clients REACH beyond any challenges related to a person’s ability to communicate, use and understand language, swallow, and/or function safely and independently in his or her own environment.
Safe & Sound Protocol
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), designed by Dr. Stephen Porges, is a five-day auditory therapy used to enhance social engagement and resilience while reducing stress and auditory sensitivity.
Academic Language Therapy/
Dyslexia Intervention
While many places offer tutoring, academic language therapy is different because it is intensive and therapeutic. The Academic Language Therapist works with children who have delays or disorders in listening, grammar, vocabulary, questioning, and/or literacy and book skills.
Applied Behavioral Health Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis, commonly known as ABA therapy, is the leading, research-based methodology proven to REACH individuals diagnosed with the challenges of autism and learning disabilities.
Integrated Listening Systems
Results of the iLs Focus System in children can include better academic outcomes, increased ability to control impulses and self-regulate behavior, and improved ability to engage appropriately with others. Teens and adults can also benefit from this program, with improved reading comprehension, concentration, memory, and performance at work. Most clients report less stress and anxiety as well as an improvement in mood.
Early Intervention
Early Intervention includes the different avenues of support available for babies with developmental delays or other challenges. EI can be instrumental in helping your child REACH beyond challenges as early in their lives as possible.
